Aduh sedih nya.....
The first time I heard this song was at a supermarket - I was instantly mesmerised by the slow and sad tune. From that moment, the haunting music kept playing in my ears, all the while I was trying to find out who the singer was.
As you can see, I've finally managed to track down the song, titled Izinkan Ku Pergi. It's sung by a fellow named Kaer. Does anyone know who he is?. In the meantime, I think I'll let myself be carried away in the sad, sad melody...
(Please don't think that I am all about songs and melodies. It's just that at the moment, I am rather 'uninspired' to write about anything worth mentioning. However, not wanting to be left behind, I feel that it's just appropriate to fill up the empty space with something, wouldn't you agree?)

it's a beautiful song, yah? the feller is one of the better product of AF2. I used to go gaga over him 3 years ago. Intelligent chap too
Haha...I heard this song being aired twice back to back on the radio in the car tonight. Thought it was a good song. And here you are blogging about it. What a coincidence. Too bad it's another love song. If only I could change the lyrics and turn it into a nasyid, heh!
Anne - So sorry Anne. Now I remember. It was just last week that you were down with sadness and melancholia sufferring from rainy days and Mondays and saying goodbye to love....
Ah well, this is yet another goodbye....of a different kind.
BTW, thanks for the info. We dont have Astro at home, so am quite ignorant of Af's products. I'm still baffled why people can go gaga over Mawi, for example. I'll go for Kaer anytime. ;)
DITH - It's indeed a BEAUTIFUL song....sad and haunting. A love song alright, but with with a twist. There's a positive message in there to the loved one left behind. Hmm....just hope that those recently left by their loved ones will not be too sad listening to this song.
pycno, don't apologize ler, i was just joking. It's a lovely song, and i can't get it enough from the radio. Sad songs aren't supposed to cause depression, you just turn to music to dive deeper into it & and let some steam off thru it :D
You prolly don't understand the TsuMawi craze because you don't watch AF much. You need to experience & embrace the show to fully appreciate what the 'rakyat' wants in a star they're about to choose. It's just politics

ha ha, i have no idea why i'm spending too much time discussing AF here, than doing some actual blogging!
i dont have astro too. i saw some of the AF either at my uncle's house or at the kedai makan. i saw the faces and knew about the winners as i broused through a photography forum where they have talented amateur photgrapher with expensive lenses to capture the moment.
as for the song, nice melody and lyrics but..... but.... i wont say it.

a small comment on the clip. there are footsteps on the sand when the ghost walked on the beach, whereas it shouldnt. :)

As for the footprints in the sand, this has to be a 'living' ghost, just like our Maya 'Pontianak' Karin. I'm SURE she leaves footprints in the sand too. ;)
Placing the box out to sea must have to do with letting go of all the memories. Though, if it was me, I dont think I'd want to do that. Emo Pycno will always hang on to memories...So, the box will remain in the house together with the other antiques. ;)

I thought the videoclip was a bit "meh" to begin with (half-way through) until i read ikelah's comment about the ghost - oh, it turns out to be a sixth sense type of twist - interesting but a bit derivative.

Hi everyone! I have missed you all very much. I got so busy I didn't have time to blog. It was really terrible.
I've long ago realised that I don't have the time to blog regularly. So I just put something up when I have a spare hour or so - like now. Then I visit a few people, say hello. It would be nice to spend more time in blogland but well... too many other demands on my time. :(
